All About CBD: The New Health Trend in India

Good morning planet,

How are we this lovely morning?

In case if you lack high spirits, you should try CBD!

I am sure I ain’t the first person to recommend CBD to you!

Spend five minutes going through health and wellness blogs, and you will see the mention of CBD at least 7 times.

When I came across CBD 3 years ago while creating brand strategies for American and Canadian clients, I had mixed feelings. Every research pointed that Cannabis extracts work, but I was also alarmed that this might just turn out to be a fad or another big fat corporate lie.

However, it’s been three years now, and CBD wowed Europe, America, UK and made its mark in Asian countries, including our own, the great Hindustan.

Now before we introduce CBD as an essential wellness supplement, let’s understand few statistics:

  • In 2020, the estimated total population in India amounted to approximately 1.38 billion people.
  • Over 90 million Indians, or 7.5 percent of the country’s population of 1.3 billion, suffer from some form of mental disorder, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).
  • According to the United Nations Millennium Development Goals (MDG) program, 8 million people out of 1.2 billion Indians, roughly equal to 6.7% of India’s population, lived below the poverty line of $1.25 in 2018–19.
  • Currently, India is home to 90 Million Health Conscious Individuals (HCI’s)

Another well-known fact to consider at present is that India is where Yogis existed. The Yogis were at the pinnacle of their health and needed no medication of any sort. Our nation has always been a land of healers. Whenever a westerner felt broke spiritually, they came to India to find a sense of belongingness.

India is also home to a wide variety of rare Cannabis strains exponentially high in medicinal values compared to their Western counterparts.

Now having said all of this, my point is even if CBD works as everyone claims (including my parents), how is it going to help our country?

Nearly a year ago, I mulled on this in detail after having a conversation with the CEO of a premium international CBD brand looking to establish a foothold in India.

I figured out two crucial missing elements which needed attention:

  • Brands needed to find ways to make medical Cannabis products affordable and accessible
  • Volunteers needed to create awareness through informative content

I took the second on me and began talks for the first with many leading CBD company’s CEO and founders.

Further down the line, I added another goal: to coach female entrepreneurs to build their CBD brands and generate more employment for the youth and help hemp farmers access better resources.

I am sure with time, short-term goals will keep on getting added.

However, the long term remains the same – affordable and accessible medicinal marijuana products for all.

Well, without much delay, let me end the suspense – Yes, CBD works!

CBD works exceptionally well. It will help you manage your day-to-day activities and get more efficient. Your sleep will improve, and so will your overall wellbeing. Your appetite will get better, and you also will feel a sense of calm even during anxious times.

However, there is one fundamental challenge:

CBD will work poorly if you do not get into a healthy lifestyle.

You must understand the logic behind this.

CBD improves the functioning of your central nervous system, which is responsible for nearly every biological function, from pooping to fucking. However, once it improves and you get healthy, it is you who can bring better results.

Yes, CBD will make you slimmer, but you will need to eat healthily and exercise for that.

Yes, CBD will make sex more passionate, but you will need to listen to your partner.

CBD definitely is a gift to the modern man. Years ago, we could have never even thought of using cannabis medication in our coffee, but here we are.

If you are a CBD enthusiast or want to try CBD, please first maintain a healthy lifestyle for a week and then start using CBD to sustain it for life.

That will be all for now.

There will be many happenings in the Indian CBD industry in the coming months now that Cannabis cultivation is being considered in Himachal Pradesh, India, and other state governments seem to be interested in exploring the cannabis industry.

Our brand has partnered with many manufactures and working closely to get more affordable products available to ordinary people like you and me.

Stay around for a while, and come back for more!

Ciao for now.

Have you tried CBD yet?
